At an information event on March 25, 2025, private developers can find out about the basic criteria according to which the first 180 building plots will be allocated. You will find the registration form for the event below.
The allocation process for the first building plots in the new Hafner district will begin in fall 2026. All plots will be awarded at a fixed price as part of a concept award in order to rule out price competition. Instead, a “competition of ideas” will be held, in which the best concept for the respective building plot will be awarded the contract.
A kick-off event for private developers will take place on March 25, 2025 in the lower Konzilsaal. The event starts at 6 pm. The basic criteria according to which the first 180 plots for the development of townhouses and terraced houses will be allocated are presented there. Building groups – associations of people interested in building with the aim of constructing jointly used multi-storey residential buildings – will also receive important information on this evening about the procedure for allocating the first five building plots intended for building groups and the advantages of joint realization.
The event will also provide information on the expected property prices and the further course of the project. Anyone interested in building can now register for the event here. For better planning, please register in advance. However, spontaneous participation without registration is also possible.
The event is primarily aimed at couples, families and people interested in building groups. Further information evenings for architects and specialist planners as well as for tradespeople and institutional clients will follow later in the year.
The Hafner, the new district of Constance, will be developed in three construction phases up to 2038. On an area of around one million square meters, floor space is being created for residential and commercial use, which will provide space for up to 6,000 Constance residents.
